About
Starting comedy in 2018 in London, Philipp Kostelecky’s originality, international appeal, and first-class physicality have shot him up the comedy ladder, reaching the final of the 2022 Leicester Square New Comedian of the Year competition and winning Best New Comedian
at the 2021 Southend Comedy Festival.
Raised by an American-Slovenian mother and absentee Austrian father, Philipp uses his unorthodox cultural background and family structure to pose as an external observer and cultivate an offbeat socio-political perspective.
At 26, Philipp is a regular on the UK and European club comedy scene armed with “pitch-perfect accents and impressions” (The Founder) and brilliant gags. Philipp can win over any crowd using his boyish charm, captivating stage presence, and undeniable comedic talent. Philipp's writing has been featured on the BBC and he has supported Russell Kane, Rafi Bastos and Des Bishop on tour.
Now based in New York, Philipp gigs across the US, UK, and Europe.
